Wendy Wells

Wendy Wells is a licensed loan consultant for Nevada County Mortgage. Wendy has been a dedicated member of the lending industry since 1995 and a resident of Nevada County for over 45 years. She received her Associates Degree in Business with honors in 2001.

She understands that the home financing process is one of the most important, and possibly the most stressful, periods in anyone’s life, and that her job is to make it as smooth as possible. The quality that she feels sets her apart from other loan consultants is the experience that she has “behind the scenes”.

Before deciding to become a licensed loan consultant she worked as a loan processor, document preparer and warehouse funder for about 10 years. “I feel like the time I spent really getting to understand the industry inside and out was similar to a lending internship. The in-depth knowledge and understanding of how the industry works enables me to coach our clients through all phases of the lending process.”

In her spare time, she enjoys taking advantage of all the wonderful activities the foothills have to offer; she recently completed the 36 mile leg of “America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride”. She said that the outdoor activities are almost a requirement to help balance her other favorite pastime, cooking and baking! She said that if she had to pick an idol it would be Giada De Laurentiis because she has made a living doing what she loves and her cooking shows are truly inspiring.
